I’ve been told to avoid lens flare; that it mars good form in photography. Rules, however, are meant to be broken. At least that’s another thing I learnt. For instance, strictly sticking to the rule of thirds can get old pretty quickly.
Full moons give rise to such bright nights, these times are perfectly spent outdoors. I enjoy sitting in the night breeze and letting my mind wander. Even with company I tend to be quiet and happily soak in the serenity.
Lately I’ve taken to experimenting with lights. I’ve always been fascinated by how light can be photographed. What has captured my attention recently is how mood can be created depending on the warmth and tone of light.
